Onward Search is looking for a Content Manager in High Point, NC!

Content Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing and across the business to support meaningful brand stories and conversion through web and mobile
  • Work within the web CMS platform to help develop and deploy original, high-quality web and mobile content
  • Manage ongoing digital content calendar in support of overall Marketing content calendar and larger content strategy
  • Create SEO-rich copy, meta tags, titles and page descriptions to enhance search visibility and grow organic traffic
  • Contribute to ongoing measurement of traffic and engagement metrics using common web analytics tools
  • Help maintain consistent brand voice and graphic standards across digital touch points

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Content specialist as part of a digital team
  • Proficient with web content management systems
  • Excellent writing skills and has experience as a content creator, copywriter or similar role
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams and departments effectively
  • Solid knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
  • Some experience with image/video editing using Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
  • Attention to detail; good organizational and time-management skills
  • Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Graphic Design or relevant field

The position may have the opportunity for occasional travel <10% but will sit in High Point, NC! Work with the VP of digital sitting in the Triad office and marketing teams to publish content for West Coast and East Coast. Apply today with your resume! Samples and portfolios a plus!
