Onward Search is looking for a Front End Developer in Matthews, NC.

General Responsibilities:

  • You'll contribute to the design and extension of the digital platform, including websites, blogs, and live video content
  • You’ll contribute high quality code to digital development projects
  • You’ll integrate with back-end teams to work through internal solutions


  • 2+ years’ experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, accessibility, platform compatibility, and all other areas of front-end development
  • 2+ years’ experience in developing for WordPress or other CMS platforms
  • Experience and/or technical knowledge of app development, APIs and content delivery
  • Strong understanding of user experience, information architecture and social media


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in programming or technology-related field


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
