Our Detroit client is seeking a Marketing Design Specialist who is looking for career growth with a privately-held company. This is a growing company who researches the ideas, decisions and thoughts of the consumers and analyzes data to create brand awareness and support marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay true to the company’s brand identity and core values
  • Create design solutions with high visual impact based on company and customer specifications
  • Develop a wide range of print and digital media using Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office
  • Manage and support a wide variety of projects, including corporate communications, email campaigns, presentations, sales brochures, magazines, videos, social media websites, etc.
  • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
  • Collaborate with functional groups throughout the organization for input and content
  • Collaborate and work with customers and team members during brainstorming sessions
  • Be receptive to feedback and adjust artwork accordingly

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing Communication or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign as well as PowerPoint
  • Highly proficient in all design aspects and development of conceptual graphics
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  • Proven graphic design capabilities with a strong portfolio
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize several projects
  • Experience with and understanding of CSS, HTML and WordPress a plus
  • Copywriting experience a plus
  • Able to communicate with all levels within the organization
  • After Effects or Maya experience is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of web development
