Onward Search is hiring a Paid Media Specialist to be responsible for managing all phases of our clients’ SEM e-commerce campaigns. This is an opportunity to work each day to maximize results and produce winning campaigns for large brands’ e-commerce programs. In this role, you will be responsible for a supporting of activities including developing Paid Media strategies, managing paid search, affiliate, display, paid social, and CSE campaigns, and management of client deliverables. This is an opportunity for an online marketing champion to have a major impact on our client’s business. We are looking for someone who is not just versed in the industry, but also has the passion and desire to grow with the company. This is a role where a successful person will be trained for management duties and responsibilities, And, the people have fun too.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring paid media campaigns, including keyword generation, ad copy writing, budget management, tracking, reporting and analyzing
  • Optimizing paid media campaigns to achieve desired goals for traffic, conversions and profitability
  • Present regular performance reports to clients
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams in media strategies and best practices
  • Assist in current or new client business development and proposals
  • Perform website analysis, consultation and additional services
  • Stay abreast of latest trends in the industry with constant research in the Online Marketing community; recommending and implementing strategies accordingly
  • Manage a team of junior to senior analysts, providing growth opportunities, reviews and feedback, and helping to set priorities for efficient time management
  • Handle site authorizations, media placements and billing issues

Prerequisites:

  • College degree
  • 2+ years managing online paid marketing campaigns
  • Experience with comScore, DART and DoubleClick

Key Required Skills:

  • Ability to communicate the benefits of Paid Media to internal teams and clients
  • Ability to measure and report on the success of online marketing campaigns
  • Ability to manage campaigns, budgets for marketing spend and resource hours
  • Ability to audit and identify strategies to improve under-performing campaigns
  • Experience managing SEM or paid search campaigns across Google & Bing
  • Experience working in a retail/e-commerce environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and written skills
  • Capable of facilitating two way communication and building consensus
