One of our B2B clients is looking to add a SEO Social Media Strategist for an ongoing contract. This can sit REMOTE and prefer CT, ET or MT zones.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Media, the Organic Social Media Strategist will play a critical role in cultivating the company’s organic social media strategy to grow the community and drive engagement. This person will be responsible for building the social calendar across platforms, in addition to developing comprehensive reporting to understand audience growth and content performance. This person will help conceptualize and direct the creation of organic social posts working closely with the digital media and creative services teams. A successful candidate would be able to bounce between the creative and analytical sides of marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop organic social media strategy to drive community growth, engagement, and awareness
Responsible for setting up and coordinating posts across active social platforms (e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter etc.) based on calendar and strategy
Establish short and long term organic social media goals across platforms - including defining KPIs, analyzing and measuring success, and optimizing strategy based on learnings
Work with content marketing to identify key themes each month and develop the social media calendar accordingly
Collaborate with digital media to develop strategic alignment and determine posts to boost via paid ads based on learnings in market
Lead the creative planning process of organic social with support from the Sr. Digital Media Specialist to produce content on appropriate platforms. Provide thoughtful direction on concepts to creative services and clearly identify the objective, goals, and inspiration etc.
Drive testing plan to optimize organic social strategy
Develop comprehensive reporting of organic social campaigns to understand trends and drivers of success by platform
Bring new ideas to elevate presence on organic social media and tell company's story
Stay abreast of industry news and platform products/features that drive toward marketing goals
Create slides as needed on strategy, performance, and recommendations
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience executing and developing organic social media strategy
Bachelor's degree or related professional experience
Solid understanding of social media best practices across major platforms, organic social algorithms, and keeps up to date on evolving product offerings/tools/features
Ability to think creatively and communicate concepts effectively for creative services to develop/produce your ideas
Strong experience using Sprout Social, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Analytics etc.
Experience using Canva is a plus
Strong ability to measure performance, synthesize and translate data into actionable insights
Experience with Google Suite tools and Slack
Ability to project manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and experience working with cross-functional teams to drive consensus on projects
Good communication and available for video meetings with appropriate stakeholders on an as needed basis
