Software Engineer (Microservices)

Global Ecommerce Client in the Chicago area is seeking a Software Engineer experienced in Microservices to join them for an ongoing consulting engagement with the potential to go perm down the road.

Skills:

• Expertise on building Microservices and Restful APIs
• Strong experience in designing and building applications in Java, Spring, SpringBoot, and Javascript
• Expertise in implementing service transformation, routing, enrichment, and orchestration
• Experience in Cloud, PAAS, and Container-based solutions
• Experience in API Management (APIGEE / Zuul) is a plus
• A true passion for achieving great results
• Very strong verbal, written and communication skills
• Excellent attention to details, quality of work and time management
• Working hard and having a sense of urgency are important,
• Strong sense of team spirit thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Self-initiated, fast learner with a positive attitude
