This is an industrial Information Architect/Prototype role assisting in the prototyping of our clients' industrial machine. This is a project-based role for our client who is looking to streamline and revise software to drive one of their core products. This would be similar to a software prototyping role, as you will work with the interactions and placements of words and instructions. This is not a mobile app development role.


  • Whiteboarding experience to map out operator journey
  • Ability to understand the basic operating principles of the machine
  • Software Prototyping for update to current technology
  • Prototype new software screens for machine operation


  • Experience in Resistive Touch Screen Displays
  • Industrial/Machining Programming experience to assist in mapping the user journey
  • Engineering or Software Design background, specifically to an industrial environment
  • Up to date Resume and some Portfolio or work samples to show relevant experience
  • Experience with Axure, or Balsamic

  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
