Interested in joining a brand-new team with a startup mentality within an established and stable organization? Our client is building out and growing a new UI team and is need of eager talent looking to expand their career. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio that shows their passion for visual design and will be eager to build a solid career.

Overview:

  • Work on production design across the channels, including but not limited to web sites (for multiple brands) and mobile apps
  • Translate abstract ideas and business requirements into data-driven and human-centered solutions based on HCI fundamentals and design principles
  • Create high-fidelity mocks and interactions for responsive web and native apps based off flows, wires, prototypes, and user research
  • Effectively communicate designs and outcomes to team members and stakeholders
  • Work with UX Designers to understand detailed user workflows: effective information architecture considering all use cases and contingencies
  • Participate in creative brainstorm sessions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in UX/UI design
  • BFA, BA, or BS degree in design or a related discipline
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of best practices in both UX and UI, developments, and trends in web design
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript
  • High organization and efficiency working with multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Sketch, Zeplin, Axure, and Adobe Creative Suite
