Our client, a growing Chicago based organization with offices in the western suburbs is looking for an experienced UX/UI designer to join their growing team. In this newly created role, the ideal candidate will translate design concepts into effective, useful information architectures, creating solutions that address user, brand and business requirements. This will involve working closely with design team to establish project scope, building wireframes and incorporate existing UX models, and utilizing prototypes to test designs.



  • An understanding of UX design across mobile and desktop platforms
  • Experience with UX design, especially building and editing wireframes
  • Ability to create compliant, production-ready code that enhances usability
  • A background building prototypes to support various research studies
  • Experience developing iterative response prototypes for responsive projects
  • Knowledge of user behaviors, usability and emerging web and design trends
  • Presentation skills and exceptional communication skills



  • 3+ years of experience in UX design at an agency, in-house, or web design shop
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred in marketing or technical-related major)
  • Up-to-date resume and portfolio that demonstrates your ability to design mobile responsive sites
  • Proficiency with InVision required
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Industry experience in e-commerce and/or food
  • Experience designing across multiple platforms
