We are looking for a passionate Contract UX Researcher willing to dive deep to understand our customers’ journey and interactions with digital products across platforms. As a member of our growing User Experience practice, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to directly impact the digital experience of an international leader in hospitality.


  • Develop research plans and materials and be comfortable facilitating and moderating user research sessions in person and remotely with participants
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative inputs to deliver actionable recommendations
  • Socialize findings in compelling ways to help team members, stakeholders, leadership, and product development teams understand customers' needs and to cultivate empathy and inspire innovation
  • Work with cross-functional agile teams and the UX manager to assess research needs and determine the best method to capture feedback and create actionable insights that provide clear direction to the team and company
  • Be comfortable leading research within project teams, managing scope, expectations and deliverables and presenting results
  • Help evangelize user research insights and the human-centered design approach with the support of a UX manager and UX team in a customer focused company
  • Help create and support development of personas, user journeys and other user-centered design deliverables that communicate user and design requirements to the project team and stakeholders
  • Assist and/or lead recruiting efforts for various research methodologies
  • Review and coach others in creating test plans and analyzing feedback


  • 3+ years’ work experience in UX research, working with digital products for web and mobile applications
  • Experience leading research projects, preparing, conducting and analyzing moderating research sessions and delivering insights
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Comprehensive knowledge of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply then during each product phase
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work with a team and independently to perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with digital tools, such as Mouseflow, Qualtrics, AppSee and UserTesting
  • Knowledge of the travel industry and experience with internationalization a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, or other related field


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
