Our client, a gaming company, is seeking a Community Manager for the entertainment marketing communications team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Social Strategist on day-to-day channel management for Entertainment products.
  • Work with the Social Strategist and Director of Social to develop and support fan communities for gaming and music.
  • Leverage your creative and communication skills to connect with our community, defining and executing an engagement strategy and tactics that ladder into it.
  • Participate in crucial conversations with players and fans online and work with creators within the community to amplify their awesome content.
  • Work cross-functionally and with other social leads across the org, helping to ensure we're aligned as a team and working from the same playbook when we talk to players on platforms and partnered channels.
  • Act as a tactical operator on multiple social channels for the North American publishing team, overseeing execution of global campaign work and development of original content for the region.
  • Foster communication between players/fan segments as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Produce creative copy and content ideas for highly engaging social posts in the respective channel voice.
  • Schedule and publish assets through various publishing tools (Sprinklr, Media Studio, Creator Studio) for all social accounts.
  • Coordinate and distribute social assets for cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Identify and solve challenges before/after regular business hours, when needed.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years in social media or community, at an agency, or in-house.
  • Experience conducting ongoing community management or implementing successful campaigns with gaming audiences.
  • Experience producing marketing and social copy.
  • Experience in social media tools and software (Spredfast, Sprinklr, etc.).
  • Proficiency in basic imaging editing software to create reactive content and memes.
  • In-depth knowledge of gaming IP and brand identity.

Pluses:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience with Photoshop and video editing
  • Experience in PR and influencer marketing
  • Experience within the gaming and entertainment IP's
  • In-depth knowledge and curiosity of the digital media landscape
  • Entertainment, gaming, and/or music background a bonus!
