Our client, a video game company, is seeking a Community Manager II to join the Player Community Team. As a Global Community Manager you will work with the Global Marketing Player Community and Brand Management teams to help launch the community and communications strategies. You will help develop campaigns, support marketing efforts, and roll-out projects that support our brand, and Marketing teams. You'll work alongside the team of Community Strategists that encompass all IP and uphold best practices, including Player-First communication standards to manage thoughtful content across social and influencer strategies.
Furthermore, you’ll help serve as the voice of players during development cycles to ensure that players’ needs and expectations are met. The Global Community Manager will report to the Global Sr. Manager of Community Management.
Responsibilities
- Co-create with Brand, Creative, Editorial, Influencer, Social and PR teams to champion player-first ideas and build globally integrated campaigns and strategies
- Help develop and execute the community and player communication strategy for players, related both to campaign and evergreen goals
- Work with International community teams provide feedback on localized content that resonates with global audiences and serve as a contact for global escalations
- Support and collaborate on player-facing opportunities, communication, and social media for development team
- Serve as a voice of players to product teams during both development and launch cycles to ensure players’ expectations are met
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience working in and managing online communities - including social media, digital marketing, and influencer strategies
- Experience with community best practices, including communication strategies, user acquisition, and driving users through the funnel
- Experience developing custom community activations on a global scale
- Deep familiarity with Mobile MOBA games
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Experience overseeing projects from kickoff to execution
- Experience developing strategies to localize campaigns for audiences around the globe
- Experience with collaborative campaign management
