Our client is seeking a Consumer Engagement Manager to add to their Consumer Department:

You will report to SVP of Consumer Engagement to plan and execute media strategy on a day-to-day basis to increase engagement and channel growth across all platforms for designated brands.

Manager is an efficient, highly organized multi-tasker, responsible for PR communications, co-creating & executing social media and advertising strategies for the brand(s) as well as facilitating content production with internal & external partners. The Consumer Engagement Manager will have responsibilities assisting with working with our high level licensing partners. Key responsibilities are assisting, supporting and execution of PR communication initiatives for the brand(s), broader digital marketing and paid media advertising.

  • Content planning - collaborate with SVP Consumer Engagement, Global Marketing & Sales, license partners and agencies to facilitate/ideate compelling content for organic and paid social media efforts
  • Coordinate and work with SVP on shoot schedule with photographers, helping on briefs, provide inspiration shots, props, backdrops, etc.
  • Social Media Calendars - develop and maintain social communications calendars with marketing/license partners/agencies
  • Tracking of content assets Influencer Marketing
  • Identify and make proposals on key relevant influencers
  • Help create creative mailer ideas
  • Compile seeding lists,  Reach out and create relationships with influencers as needed
  • Paid Media
  • Create a briefing document that includes strategy, brand information for our agency partner
  • Collaborate with and support SVP to monitor paid social media efforts across multiple platforms and channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok etc.
  • Work closely with media buying agency to ensure timelines are being met and advertising strategy is in line with brand Marketing priorities and goals
  • Monitor digital and social advertising campaigns closely and work with agency to optimize accordingly based on results and KPIs
  • Assist with paid social ad copy and cadence
  • Have knowledge of US media landscape and have contact/relations with key editors, influencers
  • Write press releases, pitches for key launches, product send outs, sample coordination
  • Coordinate with freelance PR’s when relevant
  • Assist in managing PR agency support on key projects
  • Coordination of launch events (external & internal), activations, pop ups, 3rd party events
  • Work with international markets - coordinating information and assets, daily liaison
  • Day to day media buying agency operations for brands (timelines, strategies etc.)
  • Collaborate with SVP to develop and produce ad plan decks inclusive of creative, copy and retailer tagging/links
  • Liaison between creative department, marketing and ad agency to produce and traffic ads
  • Follow up with media outlets to ensure timelines and deliverables are being met in a timely manner
  • Digital Marketing
  • Online Reviews: work with Bazaar voice/ Scent bird on e-comm reviews for new launches
  • Develop brand cards


  • Source packaging for mailings
  • Provide BV with background on brands, monitor fulfillment files and ensure all products are received by participants
  • Ensure reviews populate on sites
  • Ensure that Nat’l scent is included in strategic quoting
  • Partner with sales seasonally to maximize efficiencies and lower costs
  • Manage timelines across brands
  • Meet regularly with marketing teams to ensure that scent approvals across producers
  • Work closely with global marketing team to ensure on-time delivery of oil

Admin – Day to Day

  • Budget management :
  • Develop and maintain Ad/PR budgets with SVPs and President
  • Track budgets and reconcile billing for media and department expenses
  • Consistently reconciling budget, department expenses with actual spend/invoices as they come in
  • Create professional media presentations/ decks to share campaigns with sales team and retailers
  • Develop powerpoint & excel templates for the department

    • Budget Documents
  • Prepare and compile recaps of departmental campaigns and programming to share internally
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Docs (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Curious, has a finger on the pulse of current trends & culture, agile, flexible, social media savvy, beauty enthusiast, fun, culturally sensitive
