Onward Search is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join our global computer software client, for a full-time opportunity that starts as soon possible.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Writing and editing asset types including blog and social media copy, bylined articles, white papers, e-books, interactive Web content, video scripts, sales enablement materials, product data sheets, case studies, brochures, survey reports, infographic copy, demo scripts, and demand creation copy used in emails, banners, etc.
  • Producing and managing creative briefs
  • Managing content lifecycle workflow from creation through approvals, editing, publishing/activation, measurement, curation and maintenance
  • Working with SEO Manager and Web team to contribute to SEO and SEM initiatives with keyword prioritization based on input from key stakeholders
  • Providing and reporting on content measurement using a combination of Web analytic tools, marketing automation, content management systems and social media management tools

We are seeking a Content Marketing Specialist who meets the following requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Corporate marketing, content marketing and/or public relations experience
  • Experience writing in different styles for different audience types and goals (demand, thought leadership, sales enablement, tech writing)
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research
  • Experience with content activation channels (paid, earned, owned, inbound/outbound)
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Knowledge and experience of retail markets is a plus

This is a great opportunity to join a growing company with a global presence. You will have the opportunity to travel at least four times a year.



  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
