Onward Search is seeking a Content Operations/Project Manager to help the team of an entertainment-focused tech start-up. You will report to the Director of Content Operations and will be responsible for the procurement and publishing of theatrical metadata and content.

  • Sourcing film metadata and content from Studios and third-party partners to maintain the catalog and publish to the company’s platform
  • Ensuring all film detail pages are populated with the most recent metadata and content using an internal CMS tool
  • Managing the exhibitor mapping pipeline to ensure accurate and timely mappings for all exhibitor showtimes
  • Coordinating with Marketing and internal/external Ad Sales teams to manage on-platform priorities
  • Owning the relationship with Theatrical Studio teams to align and communicate marketing/social/publicity/operational needs internally for all upcoming releases
  • Overseeing the planning, creation, and flighting of all articles, trailers, and messaging within the in-app newsfeed
  • Working with Product, Engineering, and Design on improvement and roadmap planning of CMS tool
  • Reviewing and communicating all operational metrics internally to identify content gaps, improve operational efficiencies, and identify trends

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (film, marketing computer science, or equivalent)
  • 3-5 years of experience in the operational side of content publishing or distribution
  • Experience in the film industry or at a studio is preferred, experience in tech is a bonus
  • Proficient/Familiar with Photoshop (or some creative editing tool) as well as experience using a CMS tool is a plus
