Onward Search's insurance client is seeking a freelance CONTENT WRITER to join the team in Oakland for 6 + months. The perfect candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience writing both B2B and B2C WEB content that resonates with a variety of audiences. The candidate will quickly learn about the company in order to portray the tone and voice depending on the audience, keeping writing consistent with company values, voice, and brand. Grammar, spelling masters, please!

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years writing both b2b and b2c web content with special focus on UI/UX principles.
  • Write engaging copy in the appropriate voice depending on the audience, and all in keeping with brand standards and regulations with a focus on end-user.
  • Able to write clear, concise messaging
  • Assist in transferring a printed copy to web content
  • Experience working with designers, developers, producers for digital needs - web, video and more
  • Able to proof/edit for grammar, spelling, etc
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • BA Required
