Onward Search's client is looking for a contract copywriter to help with a project through the end of the year. This person will be responsible for creating long-form content that will help their brand reach the masses through compelling and well-written messaging. The ideal copywriter will remain true to the company’s brand but also reference the latest social and marketplace trends to enhance and build upon their existing voice.

Skills:

  • Conceiving, and executing, ideas for a variety of campaigns including but not limited to online, interactive, print, promotional materials, case studies and white papers.
  • Will translate technical documents so that they can be read and understood by the general public.
  • Writing and revising innovative and imaginative copy according to creative briefs and deadlines.
  • Performing ongoing research on current industry trends to maintain a fresh and relevant perspective in all communications.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in English, Communications, Creative Writing, Journalism or Advertising/Marketing with copywriting focus or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in higher education is a requirement.
  • Must be able to draft concepts, presentations, correspondence, and other written materials as required.
  • Must demonstrate a solid understanding of current creative media, mediums, and trends.
