Our client, a financial technology company, is looking for a Copy Editor to join their team onsite a long-term contract basis.


  • Writing, preparing and/or reviewing articles to be used in company publications.
  • Coordinating the preparation of company publications, confirming artwork, fact-checking, and giving final approvals.
  • Implementing and maintaining editorial policies and standards.
  • Relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform copy editing function.
  • Supporting other copy functions as needed.


  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within copy editing.
  • Strong communications skills, detail oriented and able to proof your own work and work of others.
  • Ability to work onsite in Orange County.

  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
