We are working with a company 20 minutes outside of Boston that is the leading enterprise cloud-computing company within its specialized industry, delivering world-class CRM and marketing services to channel partners. Across the nation, the most distinguished B2B and B2C financial companies rely on their solutions and services.

This client company breaks the mold of traditional CRM solutions by integrating ‘software-as-a-service’ with world-class digital printing and cross-media fulfillment. The culture at this organization is a fast-paced one –they are looking for someone who likes challenges, is a self-starter, and would enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, multi-faceted environment.

Job Description:

The Copywriter will assist in developing messaging and content. The Copywriter will write, edit, and proofread content across a wide-range of programs, solutions, and campaigns. This role reports into a Senior Copywriter.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Researches, develops, and writes print and web content that is clear, concise, relevant, and impactful
  • Proofreads and fact-checks content for spelling and grammar mistakes as well as inaccuracies and errors
  • Strictly adheres to client and overall company style guides when developing content
  • Amends, revises or redevelops content as needed by individual client messaging demands
  • Understands and implements the proper formatting for individual products and campaigns
  • Repurposes existing content for use in new products or campaigns
  • Meets a variety of fast-paced and established weekly, monthly, and quarterly deadlines
  • Understands the required style, tone, and voice guidelines for particular marketing initiatives and their target audiences (e.g., customers, partners or prospects)
  • Reviews existing content libraries for accuracy, consistency, and quality
  • Works with graphic designers, operations, and production to complete marketing products and campaigns
  • Works with the Content Manager to help develop new marketing products and campaigns
  • Participates in weekly content and marketing meetings

Experience:

  • An exceptionally firm grasp of the written word
  • Three to five years of professional writing experience
  • Excellent proofreading and researching skills
  • Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to stay organized and simultaneously work on several projects
  • Ability to work well as a team player as well as independently
  • Ability to respond to feedback in a timely and positive manner and to meet a variety of tight deadlines
  • Ability to interact professionally with executives and clients (internally and externally)
  • Understanding of social media marketing a plus
