Our client, a premium streaming destination, is seeking a freelance Copywriter to join the their team.

You will report to the Creative Marketing Manager.


  • Write marketing copy for a variety of placements mainly on email, direct response, web, social, along with banner copy, site copy, promotional communication, and other materials as needed
  • Play a key role on teams for large-scale initiatives including brainstorming, conceptual development, and pitching
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, video producers, and marketing managers to hone strategy and messaging for projects
  • Contribute to the efficiency of the marketing creative team by adding new ideas and approaches for marketing objectives
  • Act on marketing metrics to continually refine the copy efforts of the team; and performs all related functions as needed


  • 3-5 years relevant experience at an ad agency or in-house creative team with a strong focus on digital marketing
  • Strong portfolio showing a variety of marketing executions with a focus on digital 
  • Must have experience with e-mails for a well-known brand or agency
  • Mastery of standard English spelling, grammar, and style
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to strike a balance between showing initiative and seeking appropriate guidance and input from others
  • Calm, collected demeanor used to working with cross-departmental teams and stakeholders at a variety of levels
  • Entertainment or television marketing experience and passion desired but not required
  • Has brand strategy thinking of an agency copywriter with the results-oriented mindset of the most creative direct response efforts
  • Must be able to strategize & be business savvy being able to take data and feedback to improve each project
