Our client, a gaming company, is seeking a Copywriter for the marketing communications team.

  • Give a distinct voice to creative campaigns, partnering with Creative Leads, Video Producers, Brand Managers, Game Designers, and more to create copy that captures attention, drives action, and reinforces player passion
  • Write and edit pristine marketing copy with strong calls to action and deep player resonance for a savvy audience of competitive gamers
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams of internal and external creative executional partners to develop and deliver creative marketing assets including articles, videos, VO, text graphics, and accompanying publishing copy such as titles, descriptions, social copy
  • Approach your work with a growth mindset and a proactive, solutions-oriented attitude
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver updates to style guides and branding
  • Serve as a contributor and co-editor to a vibrant Writing Community of Practice

Musts:

  • 2-5 years copy experience at a digital advertising agency or client side with a focus on user acquisition or video games
  • Experience developing clear, precise copy for web, social, or other channels
  • Ability to write from the perspective of a specific audience
  • Experience self-editing and working in a collaborative writing process
  • Basic understanding around creative ideation and writing to creative briefs
  • Experience translating marketing and creative briefs into creative copy that delivers on business goals. Ability to lead others and execute as well
  • Strong experience working with creative briefs
  • Deep understanding or high curiosity about what gaming competitors and top companies are doing—especially how they speak to players
