Our client is a leading, full-service advertising agency, specializing in healthcare and biotech is looking for a Copywriter with 3-5+ years of experience.

The main agencies office is in NYC, but they're growing their SF team (about 20 people now!)The Agency provides local support to West Coast clients, delivering the highest standards of strategic/creative/digital service.

They are seeking a Senior Copywriter with a flare for language and strong conceptual thinking. From the Web to video, to print, you'll be writing across a wide range of media with one common goal--creating stellar work. You'll work closely with the senior team, and will report to the Group Copy Supervisor.


  • Write persuasive copy that is engaging and approachable.
  • Develop a broad range of concepts and solutions that are compelling, unique and memorable.
  • Collaborate with art directors to develop cohesive concepts and tactics.
  • Work with supervisor to develop message platforms that are in alignment with the strategy and brand personality/essence.
  • Ensure messages are aptly referenced from peer-reviewed journals/product label.
  • Gain thorough knowledge of the brand’s product label and pivotal trials.
  • Provide references and annotations for medical,-legal submissions.
  • Produce and maintain reference binders.
  • Become fluent in client’s style specifications, i.e., AMA style.
  • Ensure timelines are met successfully, both within brand guidelines.


  • Prior Pharma ad agency experience required (HCP preferred).
  • Experience writing for highly regulated brands in an agency setting (Healthcare, Pharma, and/or financial products/services).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely organized and proactive with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with high attention to detail and agency process.
  • A passion for solving problems and the ability to be inspired rather than discouraged by difficult challenges.
  • BA/BS in advertising, journalism, literature, creative writing, or related field.
  • Computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
