Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Copywriter with a leading food company! Specific responsibilities will include developing compelling and inspiring copy for a variety of mediums including consumer ads, trade ads, shopper marketing materials, emails, website and social media. You will be writing both headlines and body copy.

This is an ongoing part-time offsite role that is expected to be between 8-16 hours a week of work. You must have the flexibility to be in Petaluma 1-2 times for meetings.


  • Must have 5+ years of copywriting experience at a ad agency or in-house for a CPG food brand
  • Portfolio must demonstrate strong conceptual skills, voice and clear execution of ideas. You must have both digital and traditional media writing experience
  • Must have own work station
  • Must have strong editing skills
  • Must be accustomed to deadline-oriented work
  • A passion for healthy living, vegetarian food, etc. is a plus
