Onward Search is looking for a Copywriter to join our Beauty client, for a temp-to-perm opportunity.

You will report to the VP Marketing, and be responsible for:

  • Concepting, writing and editing on brand materials including web, social media, email, product descriptions, and marketing and advertising material
  • Creating tone and voice of communication based on the company's brand guidelines
  • Developing copy for presentations for business, vendors, partnerships and influencers
  • Collaborating with marketing team, product team and the executives of the company to continue to refine and elevate the brand voice


  • 3-5 years of experience in copywriting
  • 1-2 years’ experience in beauty is highly desired
  • Experience writing and editing brand strategy documents (mission, vision, values, etc.)
  • Experience conceptualizing
  • Experience with both short and long form writing for brands covering copy for websites, social media, presentations and marketing materials
  • Experience proofreading


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
