Onward Search is looking for a bright, efficient, super well organized and thoughtfully quick Copywriter for a premier client in San Francisco, CA

Candidate must have an eagerness to tackle all manner of writing -- you may be asked to write something humorous, or a simple transactional message. You can transform technical or transactional topics into compelling creative that inspires action. An interest in sports or experience writing for sports audiences is key.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Copywriter will develop messaging that elevates and humanizes the brand and adheres to brand guidelines
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions with stakeholders and studio creatives
  • Meet aggressive deadlines and reprioritize your queue as needed
  • Be exceptionally organized
  • Make work you're proud to share
  • Many campaigns will have a mobile and social component, so experience or an interest in these areas is key
  • The Copywriter will work mainly on B2C projects and may also be asked to write copy tailored for B2B audiences such as ticket brokers and potential partners
  • In partnership with the studio designers, the Copywriter will be asked to take creative concepts developed by the senior creative team and translate them into headlines and long-form copy across multiple channels (owned, earned and paid) and mediums (digital display, email, print, live event activation, video)

Requirements:

  • Ability to present your work effectively and receive feedback
  • Passion for live entertainment and how it connects people
  • Positive, collaborative attitude
  • 3+ years’ experience writing copy, agency or in-house
