Our client located in the heart of Boston is seeking an experienced Corporate Communications professional to join their 650-person operations team.

This is a role that will be contract (regular, full-time hours) for 6 months with a possibility for extension and the work needs to be performed onsite at the client location all day, every day.

Someone with 3+ years corporate communications experience will be an ideal candidate for consideration and proficient with the following:

  • The art of the written word
  • Communicating change management related to leadership, technology and operational requirements
  • Adept at storytelling
  • Building internal relationships with business stakeholders
  • Managing (thoroughly) and planning an editorial and communications plan and calendar-preferably within a project management tool/platform but experience doing this in Excel (or something similar) is acceptable
  • This is an immediate need and an opportunity to work with a global, growing brand

Additional Details:

  • The nature of the work is focused on understanding and conveying company and product information to internal and external stakeholders through appropriate and effective channels. Develop ongoing relationships with business partners across a range of company and brand functions including Product Creation, Retail, Sales and Commerce, HR and others to assist with delivery of strategic communications plans, messaging and products
  • Coordinate project deliverables and act as a liaison to technical communications team and others
  • Develop communications strategies/plans that identify business goals to be achieved, measurable objectives, audiences, messaging, creative concepts, communications channels, communications cadence and metrics
  • Outline and continually update project plans; timelines and delivery calendars; and communications materials
  • Develop and execute messaging for internal communications
  • Write and edit content for intranet, digital radio, executive blogs, and internal announcements
  • Ensure that a thorough review, editing and updating process is followed for all communication. edit content for intranet, digital radio, executive blogs, and internal announcements

  • Deliver communications projects through a variety of channels
  • Utilize an array of existing channels and tools and emerging technology to deliver global messaging Assist with event production, intranet content and media relations as needed
  • Manage the budget and resources (internal and external) associated with the execution of the communication strategy
  • Develop and participate in the business planning, budget and performance target setting process
