Onward Search has a client who is seeking an experienced Copywriter to join their team for an ongoing freelance opportunity. You will be creating branded clear and clever copy across a variety of consumer and trade communications along with the following skills and competencies.  


  • Participate in and execute naming of products and services.
  • Effectively explain work in defense of the brief and/or direction given, and present a clear articulation of recommendations
  • Maintain specific brand, product, and business knowledge and understand marketing and sales needs of assigned business owners.


  • 5+ years exp. Copywriting.
  • Must have a portfolio showcasing samples across marketing campaigns inclusive of print, web, email, out of the home, direct mail, etc.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced in-house agency environment
  • Passionate about crafting marketing, promotions, and advertising copy in both long and short print
  • Thorough understanding of digital culture and social media.

  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
