Onward Search has a great opportunity with a national non-profit that is looking to make a difference. They are in search of a Copywriter for an onsite/offsite part-time (~30 hrs/wk) freelance opportunity that has the potential to go full-time.

You will be writing weekly and quarterly newsletters that will be distributed to their large population of national donors. It will require filtering through research of events happening, working with the media team to cover news as well as interviewing contributors and profiling them for the newsletter.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience with copywriting, ideally for a PR, marketing, and or advertising company.
  • The ability to work against tight deadlines and project manage your work.
  • Ability to work well on a team and individually.
  • Effective time management and ability to multitask across a variety of deliverables.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field.
