Onward Search has a new opportunity with a well-known financial client. This opportunity is for a Copywriter that can start immediately onsite at our client’s office in Plano, TX.   • Works directly and collaboratively with members of the creative team and business partners to develop and produce effective communications
  • Manage multiple deadlines on numerous concurrent jobs
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of advertising and marketing trends and translates business intent into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively
  • Demonstrate understanding of intended audience
  • Interprets market research and test results and can use findings to focus targeted marketing messages
  • Facilitate brainstorm sessions
  • Recognizes ideas that should go forward
  • Write concise, informative, and engaging copy
  • Persuasively communicates creative ideas and rationale
  • Monitor projects to ensure creative intent is not diluted


  • Must have a bachelor’s Degree in communications or creative writing or journalism
  • Must have 3 to 5 years writing experience
  • Direct Mail or web experience required within any industry
  • Experience with processes, technology, or people solutions about the design or print process
  • Experience with MS Word and Acrobat highly preferred
  • Must have a strong portfolio that demonstrates a variety of experience with national advertising or marketing campaigns (annual reports, broadcast, print, and web)
