Copywriter

Onward Search is looking for a Copywriter to lend his or her talents to our client in the Financial space. You'll need the ability to write copy in long and short form while adhering to our friendly, helpful and approachable brand voice. Assignments will run the gamut from social and digital ads to website copy to emails and direct mail. Ideally, you will have experience in both traditional and digital.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Create copy solutions that reinforce and elevate our brand
• Work from agreed upon creative briefs with designers and project teams to develop and execute concepts for major financial products and marketing initiatives
• Develop impactful messages that can be campaigned across a variety of media

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• 4 or more years of professional experience in a marketing and/or agency environment
• Solid copywriting online portfolio or PDF
• Understanding of best practices when writing for email, social and digital
• Strong strategic thinking, business partnering and presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
