Onward Search is looking for a Corporate Document Designer to join our client in Charlotte for a remote project-based contract opportunity!.

  • You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, formatting, and creating polished and print-ready documents, reports and presentations for delivery to the client.
  • You must understand and have experience building Word, PDF, InDesign, and PowerPoint documents according to specific brand standards and needs. This include documents which may be structurally rigid but require fluidity in the actual content integration as well as documents that are easily editable by staff members while still retaining the necessary formatting.
  • 7+ years of experience in hands-on and conceptual corporate documentation, report, and presentation design required.
  • Please note: This is NOT a graphic design role. This position is focused specifically on page layout and document usability. The creation of design elements will be very limited.


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
