Our client, a large fashion retailer located in Manhattan Beach seeks a temp-to-perm Administrative Assistant to work in their creative department. This person will work under the VP of Creative and will be responsible for various projects and daily office tasks. This person should be polished, professional, have strong attention to detail, be easy going and take direction well.

Responsibilities, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Assist with management of calendar, route PTO requests and send out reminders
  • Maintain printer area and light table and drawers inventory, contact maintenance as needed.
  • Act as liaison for IT tickets and new hire department into and set up
  • Maintaining supply inventory and ordering supplies
  • Purchase/ archive stock images for all stock requests/ updating stock image category archive
  • Update all dept documents: contact/extension lists, department parking map, dept seating chart, parking info sheets
  • Assist PM team in proofing content/ distros
  • Send out dept memos as needed
  • Hard drive check out
  • Help with web research and special projects
  • Occasional dept errands
  • Meeting prep- copies/ scans
  • Create marketing reference books per approved assets
  • Assist with PO’s, volume fluctuates per day
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a corporate environment
