Our client, an entertainment and activation agency, is looking for a new Creative Director with an art background to help lead the agency forward. This is a temp to perm onsite role in NYC.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the creative charge for the New York office
  • Overseeing a team of creatives including ACD's, Art Directors and Copy
  • Build creative for range of entertainment, automotive and CPG clients from the ground up
  • Partner with Account and Strategy leads on initiatives from pre-brief stage through execution
  • Run creative projects at a high-level but with a hands-on approach when needed
  • Understand and carry the agency's vision and approach forward
  • Travel to client, productions, meetings where necessary
  • Pitch new business for the agency
  • Other tasks may apply

About you:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Creative Director seat at an agency or in-house at an experiential and entertainment focused company
  • 10+ years in the creative field coming from an Art background
  • An interest in current culture, entertainment, sports, fashion, auto and CPG
  • You are a natural leader with creative skills and the ability to make sense of complex information
  • Comfortable presenting and selling creative concepts to large groups
  • Ability to design and write concepts based on input from clients, account service and strategy
  • Experience building, mentoring and leading creative teams to created compelling creative concepts
  • Ability to listen and be heard during casual department meetings or high-profile creative presentations
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred in design, marketing or advertising)
  • Up-to-date resume and portfolio
