Small but mighty agency in the Loop is seeking a dynamic, multi-skilled production manager to join their team. In this role, you will ensures overall project delivery success through quality control, resource management, project trafficking and production management/oversight.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and is accountable for best practice quality control measures and processes, implementing and aiding in adoption across the company
  • Performs reviews throughout the project lifecycle and prior to client release to ensure project specs and delivery meet approved SOW & brief requirements
  • Manages risks throughout the project lifecycle including understanding overarching project requirements,consulting on project timing and developing back up plans to mitigate risks
  • Tracks and manages talent database and freelance/contractor and recruiter relationships
  • Books and confirms, manages scope, invoices, timesheet approvals and facilitation for design talent identified for projects
  • Consults with team on day-to-day talent forecasting for design teams and for project management/digital producer needs (utilization, resource gaps and workflow)
  • Maintains a bird’s eye view and understanding of current projects (in-house and forecasted, including new business), as they relate to resourcing and quality control
  • Owns internal project and talent management systems and resource assignment documentation to maximize efficiencies, productivity and delivery
  • Oversees production management and acts as production manager when required including vendor management
  • Gathers estimates required for external production needs (print, photography, video etc.)


  • A minimum of 5 years of creative/digital agency experience
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a proven critical thinker
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Track record of high-quality control standards and industry best practices knowledge
  • Experience with various projects types and specification requirements, including web, mobile, digital, video, photography and print
  • Proactive attitude, willing to take ownership of work, self-organizing and highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and communicate up, down and laterally
  • Proficient on Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Sketch are a must. Invision, Keynote and knowledge of programming languages a plus
