Our client, a startup e-commerce retailer for home goods is looking for a Video Producer to join their team. Your goal will be to elevate the creative work by bringing your expertise and connections to this growing business. The office and in-house studio are in Northern New Jersey and candidates must be willing to go on-site up to three days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the creative production process for TV/Video projects helping creative teams realize campaign visions.
  • Work with marketing, creativity, and strategy to ensure objectives are aligned during a brief stage.
  • Partner with the creative team to ensure roadblocks are removed from the creative process, and flagging potential risks such as budget and timeline.
  • Develop and manage projects to a clear timeline, actively monitoring project progress and adjusting as needed.
  • Develop and oversee production schedules.
  • Provide quality control over creative deliverables to ensure standards are being adhered to.
  • Lead vetting and relationships with external vendors ensuring scopes are on budget.
  • Utilize your network of Production partners to stand up projects quickly and successfully.
  • Produce video shoots including managing pre-pro, hiring freelancers, talent casting, prop procurement, craft services, on-set assistance, asset management, etc.
  • Other tasks may apply.

Experience:

  • 8-10 years as a Video Producer with experience in the advertising agency environment.
  • Experience working on fashion or luxury brands.
  • Experience facilitating the creative process from brief through completion, partnering directly with creative teams.
  • Experience with project planning, adhering to milestones, managing shot lists.
  • Strong experience with budgeting and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of production and vendor rates, as well as booking procedures for freelance talent, actors, etc.
  • The drive to own and lead video shoots across the full process.
  • Ability to work at an extremely high pace without getting overwhelmed.
