Onward Search is looking for a Creative Project Manager to join our agency client in Atlanta for an onsite contract opportunity!

Please note:

  • This is an ASAP start.
  • This is an ongoing W2 contract role expected to require 35-40 hrs/wk.
  • Prior marketing/advertising agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience leading experiential design projects strongly preferred.

Job Summary:

  • Support the Director of Creative Services (DCS) in all project needs, from administrative to operational support to project management.
  • Work alongside the DCS in order to understand agency layout, client personalities, and project scope.
  • Provide operational support to projects and clients as assigned, with increasing level of autonomy as tenure within the position grows.
  • Assist in the coordination, completion and delivery of creative projects. Coordinate and manage the workflow of Developers, Interactive Designers, Social Community Managers, QA Testers, and Analytics team members
  • Serve as a liaison between the client Account teams and all of the Creative, Development, Interactive Design, Social Community Management, QA Testers and Analytics teams.
  • Projects will cover a wide range of topics, including creating brand content, social assets, websites, micro sites, marketing campaigns and the like.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and periodically summarize and communicate project status for Account teams and/or upper management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience managing creative projects.
  • Prior marketing or advertising agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience managing experiential design projects strongly preferred.
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Must be comfortable working very closely with management and agency teams in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Desire, drive, and willingness to grow into a project management role.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and efficiently; superior multi-tasking skills
  • Familiarity with creative product delivery processes.
  • High-energy, dynamic personality.
  • Excellent writing, grammatical/proofing, communication, presentation, and follow-up skills. Impeccable communication and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional organization and resource planning skills.
  • Extreme level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity in at least one Project Management suite and Time Tracking tools preferred.
  • Ability to oversee all aspects of a project, from initial request (prior to Discovery) through Deployment and subsequent Maintenance
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects of widely varying time-lengths, from quick-turnaround content initiatives to large-scale web platform development projects.
  • Familiarity with how to define and manage project scopes, estimate costs and timelines, schedule tasks and resources.
  • Experience monitoring project budgets.
