One of our global retail clients is looking to add a Creative Studio Manager to their team. This is a Hybrid Remote role located outside of Washington, D.C.

Location: Hybrid - NOT REMOTE

The Creative Studio Manager – is a key member of the creative leadership team. They are the fulcrum of all activities, managing information on jobs, staff, time, space, external resource, and money. They define tempo and efficiency of the department as separate unites working seamlessly together, providing continuity and consistency. The position will report to the Vice President – Global Creative. Importantly, the responsibilities the CSM will inherit will free our top creative talent to maximize the time devoted to creation – by managing the right level of expectation, the right level of support (both internal and external) and the right level of talent – relieving creative leaders of management, coordination, and administration responsibilities for them to focus on making the work better.

  • Integrate all Omni functions brilliantly – help manage key functional relationships particularly with marketing operation (global & regions), .com, UX, and Global retail. Simply put, this position ensures the creative pipes are aligned
  • Track requests, identify dependencies and opportunities
  • Build and manage an overall creative calendar marking all significant (non-production related) landmarks
  • Partner with creative leaders to identify new, better ways to move creative work from brief to concept to completion seamlessly
  • Build and manage annual creative budget across staffing, Brand maintenance (guidelines), R&D (emerging product/futures), training and technology
  • Integrate global creative teammates through managed interaction and reporting – ensuring visibility of ALL global & regional projects to global creative leadership
  • Managing Global to Regional (especially emerging regions) communication both internally and agency – i.e. translations

Skills/Experience

  • A working knowledge of creative & production workflow – both the art and technology
  • Project management experience
  • Understanding of CRM, Loyalty and other relevant digital marketing trends is critical
  • Recent experience in digital transformation would be extremely valuable
