Data Analyst

Onward Search is looking to hire a Data Analyst for our direct client! This is a 12+ month contract role on a w2 basis with our technology client.

What you’ll do:

• Act as global point of contact for all reporting requests for workforce & recruiting data with TA leadership
• Develop, deliver and troubleshoot regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and other forms of data-based insights using multiple tools including Workday, Visier, Looker, Excel and Sheets.
• Ensure reports are accurate, meet business needs, are easy to interpret, and are delivered within agreed-upon time frames
• Proactively identify opportunities to automate and streamline regular reporting requests
• Develop a significant understanding of the business and organizational structure aligning data requests to business objectives
• Run regular audits on TA team data and report issues
• Communicate system and process changes to TA Enablement to ensure team training and adoption
• Identify areas where TA team data is not up-to-date or has gaps and work with TA Leads to suggest and implement ways to improve data quality
• Develop and deliver user training sessions and user guides on reporting to end users
• Validate and expand data loads into Visier Workforce Intelligence

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 3-5 years of TA Reporting experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and manage multiple projects
• Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met
• Strong problem solving / critical thinking capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced handling highly confidential data sets
• Strong consultative skills

What we’d prefer:

• Experience with Workday highly preferred
• Advanced skills in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, v-lookup, macros, charts & graphs)
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Looker, Visier and/or other related reporting and analytic tools
• Active Snapchat user who is passionate about the product
