Global health company in NYC is seeking a Product Owner (Analytics) to join them for a Contract-To-PERM HIRE opportunty.


Requirements :

  • Actively manage the team backlog, implementation planning and operational readiness.
  • Using Agile SAFE methodologies and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
  • Defining user stories, continuously groom user stories and prioritize team backlog with scrum teams based on business priorities.
  • Create and maintain high quality requirement artifacts (user stories, process flow diagrams, use cases, data mapping sheets, etc.) using various tools (i.e. Rally, Visio etc)
  • Coordinate with stakeholders (business owners, end users) and technical teams (development, testing, scrum masters, etc).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand data integration points, process workflows from an end to end perspective from back end and front end perspective
  • Conduct end-to-end impact analysis, design reviews, test case reviews to ensure that the business vision, goals and requirements are met
  • Coordinate with application users and various stakeholders (including other POs) to understand business problems, requirements, and goals that the business team need to achieve
  • Manage and analyze business requirements with the ability to prioritize during changes and conflicts
  • Attend daily standup, retrospective, team demo and document business release notes
  • Ability to adapt in a fast paced, Agile SAFE scrum environment
  • Manage significant product initiatives. Strong product management skills, strong technical knowledge of products and systems

Experience:

  • At least 3+ years of recent experience as an agile product owner with a Business Analysis/ Business System Analysis background.

 

Technical/Functional skills:

  • Write user stories
  • Interpret business requirements and elaborate them into user stories and key deliverables
  • Drive meetings with IT/business stakeholders
  • Documentation skills
  • Converse in technical jargon (hands on development experience not required) - e.g., should understand what is meant by “webservice”, “json”, “database view”, “stored proc”, “big data”, “data science” etc.
  • SQL skills – Should be able query databases and understand what that query does
  • Data analysis skills
