Onward Search is on the hunt for a talented UX Designer for one of our corporate clients.
You'll report to the Director of UX and be responsible for leading the UX Strategy and Design for a new customer on-boarding experience. You'll be redesigning the new customers experience from end to end in a rapid design to prototype model.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage a team of prototypers, usability researchers/ testers to create conceptual ideas/ strategies and to complete a fully functioning dev-ready prototype.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the team, run whiteboard sessions, oversee junior team members and client interaction, etc.
- Advise and oversee informal and formal usability studies.
- Design the best practices across the web and mobile platforms.
We are seeking UX Designers who fit the following qualities:
- Must have robust experience in UX Design and able to lead both strategy and teams.
- This job is a hands-on role that requires someone to be hands-on both with the design of wireframes while managing others.
- Must have an expert-level understanding of UX Design principles across the web and mobile platforms.
- Prefer candidates who have worked with Customer Support experiences for consumer-facing products.
- Must have a portfolio that demonstrates complex UX thinking and strategy.
- Must be able to work within a rapid, iterative design process.
- Must be able to lead teams, and be client-facing.
