Our client, a design studio, is seeking a Design Account Manager to join their team.
Lead and monitor projects on a day-to-day basis in coordination with the LA team
Establish and build strong relationships with co-workers and clients
Ensure daily client communication, collaboration, and resolution
Review deliverables to make sure the work meets client requirements. Ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
Participate in client meetings as appropriate
Develop proposals and scope of work documents:
Involve Creative and Production leads on proposal development
Plan projects to meet goals within constraints of time, cost and material specifications
Create and contribute to detailed project timelines that identify key milestones for all stakeholders and resources
Efficiently manage challenges due to scope-creep, changed requirements, missed deadlines etc. with the assistance of key stakeholders
Provide input for scheduling internal and external resources in collaboration w/ Creative and Production Leads
Document client feedback and effectively communicate back to the team
Gain alignment with client and internal team before proceeding. Act as the “eyes and ears” for LA team on the ground with our clients in Seattle
Resolve conflicts in a positive way addressing issues and contributing solutions
Juggle multiple clients and projects while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Keep the Account Team and Executive Management informed of the status of each account, plans and key meetings
Manage invoicing and provide weekly job financials including job profitability and new
3-5 years’ experience in a fast-paced packaging/print CPG-focused creative environment
Experience with consumer packaging, branding, brand ID systems, guidelines, architecture, line extension, pack adaptations, and finalization
Experience working on CPG projects from concept to completion
Quick to absorb and analyze large amounts of information
Enthusiastic, energetic, imaginative, creative problem solver
Approachable, outgoing and diplomatic
A clear communicator, in person and writing
Skilled at listening, negotiation, presenting and motivating others
Mac literate – Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite is a big plus
Comfortable creating and working with Google share documents; able to create detailed and concise timelines and action plans
Comfortable working as part of a team in a communal and collaborative atmosphere
Comfortable working with the LA studio remotely
Strong knowledge of creative development and printing production processes
Aware of current brands and commercial trends, especially as they relate to design and packaging development
Ability to travel when necessary
