Our client is an award-winning creative design agency with an artful point of view and a passion for addressing society’s unmet needs with a focus on cities, civic engagement, creative expression, gender equality, racial justice and sustainability.

They are looking for a Design Director to play a key role on the creative team, overseeing designers, leading projects from beginning to end, developing concepts and overseeing production of final assets. Digital design and implementation experience a plus.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead all aspects of the creative process across the team, from brief to final deliverables
  • Present multiple and varied ideas and concepts for each brief to the internal team and clients
  • Manage your time efficiently and organize workload to meet multiple project schedule deadlines on time and on budget
  • Actively participate in internal and client brainstorms and presentations
  • Be our go-to resource for a wide range of digital deliverables including websites, animations, campaigns, brand collateral, exhibitions, social media assets, emails and more
  • Lead and support UI and UX design, from research and content organization to wireframing and design, to production oversight
  • Share constructive criticism to the work the team creates and serve as a proxy for the Creative Director for feedback, approvals, decisions, etc. when needed

Experience:

  • At least 6 years of design experience (preferably within in agency setting)
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, After Effects and Figma
  • Knowledge of coding (CSS/HTML), Web-builder platforms, and Video Editing a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Miro Board a plus
