One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a marketing designer to round out their small but mighty creative team.

Are you a driven and talented creative marketing/communication professional? Do you enjoy designing and drafting creative content for product messaging, company branding, and marketing? Do you act with integrity and work well with others?

Our client is seeking, a creative designer based in the Detroit area. This role will be responsible for leading the design and advertising message for the company and product brands, reporting to the Director of Marketing. You will also create content, along with our marketing team, for product and packaging communications, multi-media platforms, including video content, social media, web-based digital content, and ad hoc content for our national sales team. As a member of the marketing team, you will lead the development of creative content for product and company advertising campaigns, trade shows, sales, and technical communications, which includes both digital and printed product literature.

  • Coordinate photography for product and company initiatives
  • Coordinate our brand communications across, all advertising platforms including website, print, and social media platforms
  • Support and interact with sales and marketing by reviewing trade publications, and competitive advertising communications via varying media
  • Achieve team goals by accepting ownership for fulfilling new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Necessary Qualifications: A background in marketing or graphic design/communications, a college degree required.

  • 3-5 years of related agency, business administration or marketing experience, construction trade-based, or construction industry experience is considered a plus
  • Require an advanced user with the Adobe Suite of software including InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, XD, and Photoshop
  • Must have experience in product photography and lighting concepts
  • Candidate required to provide a creative portfolio for consideration
  • Advanced copywriting experience is considered a plus
  • Experience with social media platforms and communications strategies for digital advertising
  • Require advanced users with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized, self-reliant, proactive, and capable of excelling in a collaborative team environment
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills
