Our client, a multi-cultural cable network, is looking for a freelance Designer/Animator to join their team.

You will report to the VP Brand Creative and be responsible for:

  • Doing on-air broadcast design and motion graphics, heavier on design vs animation
  • Working on templates and versioning of on-air navigation graphics and show packages
  • Occasional project that is more conceptual working with original design and animation
  • Support internal departments and external partners in the application of identity and branding

Musts:

  • 3-5 years of entertainment media branding experience preferably in Media, Entertainment and Digital-native industries
  • Undergraduate Degree in Fine Arts, related field or equivalent professional experience – Graduate Degree preferred
  • Expert in AfterEffects, Cinema4D is a bonus
  • Comfortable versioning from an existing look with on-air promo and navigation grapphics
  • Strong eye for design, with a fresh and digital forward perspective on branding
  • Portfolio showcasing strong design and branding 360 projects, not simply linear tv work
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and requests at a time, and must be comfortable switching gears
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments and lead a creative team
  • Excited about working on a multi-cultural brand and improving all branding efforts
  • Seeking a nice, positive, collaborative and cozy environment with no egos
  • The ideal candidate is a pop culture junkie that lives and breathes the latest trends in design, advertising and marketing and has an intuitive sense of what will resonate with a multicultural millennial audience
