Designer

Onward Search is seeking a Designer to join a major luxury retail brand. This is a hybrid position that would require you on site.

As the Designer you will support the marketing team by creating engaging designs and animations for seasonal and monthly marketing materials. This role requires effective design skills for a wide range of marketing components including print and digital campaigns.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to work efficiently without compromising quality
• Strong conceptual abilities, sophisticated sense of color and layout with an eye for cropping/selecting photography
• Possess good interpersonal communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Solutions-oriented, proactive, and not afraid to take initiative
• An interest in the fashion/luxury e-commerce
• A degree in Graphic Design or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
• 3-5 years of experience in graphic design in a branded content, agency, editorial or marketing environment
• Excellent typography skills
• Full understanding of digital platforms to ensure all electronic files are built responsibly
• Knowledge of design, typography and branding fundamentals
• Knowledge of the digital environment - including files, formats and best practices
• Knowledge of pre-press file preparation including font management and support file links
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac platform and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript

As The Designer you will:

• Collaborate with the Design and Marketing teams to create innovative designs and compelling stories in line with each season's inspiration and campaign
• Use effective time management and organizational skills to maintain effective workflow and meet deadlines
• Create layouts and GIF animations using templates for monthly digital marketing
• Maintain the level of excellence in all creative with a keen eye for typography, graphic design, illustration, photography and animation
• Work independently and collaboratively to complete a variety of design and production tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Develop effective graphics, digital animations and ad materials that aligns with the larger identity and mission of the brand
• Follow project from concept to final approval ensuring integrity of creative concept iskept in focus throughout
• Ensure proper sign off process-proofreads and verifies content & specs for all projects
• Stay current with the latest developments, technologies, and trends in Design
• Other tasks may apply
