Onward Search is seeking a Digital Asset Manager for a long-term contract with an exciting client in the South Bay. This role will report to the Digital Asset Manager and is responsible for coordinating the post-production assets which includes close collaboration with Producers, Creative Directors, Editors, and Photo Team to ensure quality standards, protection of the client's brand and legal management. The position requires expertise with technical and creative aspects of media production.


  • Responsible for the ingestion and tagging of digital content, including video, image, and document files.
  • Work with Creative, Social and Sales team to coordinate asset publishing to the retailer/distributor external facing Partner Portal.
  • Assist in creating additional Social/Tradeshow/Reel assets upon request.
  • Collaborate with the Post Production Supervisor, Content Operations Manager, Creative Director, Producers, Editors, and Digital Asset Manager to manage project priorities.
  • Work with the localization team to ensure files are set-up for localization.
  • Assist in coordinating the localization process of videos between internal teams and vendors.
  • QC project deliverables and ensure legal documents are in order before distribution of assets.
  • Work with Analytics to coordinate reporting on published assets.
  • Enforce guidelines in the Production Playbook and assist in project setup in content management applications.
  • POC for support and training on content management applications.
  • Manage internal and external user accounts for Partner Portal, including QC of all new accounts.
  • Assist in maintaining and supporting the Digital Asset Management system.
  • Collaborate with Digital Asset Manager on requirements gathering for changes and development to asset management applications.


  • Strong experience with managing content and metadata, as well as expertise navigating DAM and CMS systems.
  • Experience with editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, DaVinci).
  • Experience with content rights and licensing.
