Our client, a Best Places to Work company with offices in downtown Chicago and the far northwest suburbs, is seeking a marketing guru to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership, sales, and marketing to help create creative and marketing strategy to support their explosive growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to effectively increase brand awareness and reinforce company core values with associates, clients, and prospective clients
  • Produce and deploy relevant and high quality creative content that strengthens the brand for advertising, email and social media programs
  • Engage Business Development and Practice Leaders to produce purposeful content for newsletters, brochures, drip campaigns, and marketing material
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Practice Leaders to develop and participate in educational sessions, attend conferences and trade shows, and create thought leadership opportunities to expand our visibility
  • Import and format copy and graphics into existing design templates and create new templates as business needs change to accommodate new areas of expertise
  • Design graphics for traditional and online advertising, social media, promotions, press releases, and other internal and external publications
  • Plan and execute internal and external campaigns for corporate promotion, announcements, launching of new products and services, and communicate organizational developments through digital and traditional media means
  • Generate, interpret, and make strategic recommendations from web-based, social media, and traditional media analytics
  • Responsible for producing valuable content and editorial design for the company's online presence (including the website) and designing the company's publications in an appealing fashion
  • Maintain web and social messaging with relevant content to increase key word rankings, lead generation and web conversions
  • Oversee all internal communications channels, and outgoing materials to clients and prospective clients, to ensure consistent utilization of our logo, brand, and message

Experience Needed:

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience that demonstrates artistic ability, effective listening and communication skills, excellent computer skills, be detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Experience with digital communications and website publishing
  • Flexible writing style effective across a variety of applications including business, web, and social platforms
  • Familiar with email or communication platforms such as ConstantContact, MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, Cision, Meltwater, SalesForce, and Pardot
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and maintain composure and professionalism while multi-tasking
  • Self-motivated self-starter able to identify and tackle a variety of issues
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and as an individual contributor in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple individuals and teams
