Onward Search is looking for a Digital Communications Manager for our client on a contractual basis. This person is responsible for defining, implementing and executing internal digital communication and collaboration strategies across all businesses lines and
functional groups. A key component of this includes monitoring usage metrics to continue to refine the approach to foster the adoption of digital channels. This person will shape and develop digital spaces as a key resource to facilitate internal communications and collaboration among colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages content and projects related to the Intranet sites, knowledge management repositories and collaboration tools/platforms. Tracks and analyzes metrics to foster increased usage of digital channels
  • Responsible for keeping content contributors for all relevant sites engaged and on track
  • Fosters collaborative, mutually beneficial working relationships through regular meetings and communications. Develops a culture of continuous feedback
  • Develops documented procedures and processes for business usage and/or maintenance of various sites. Ensures that best practices are implemented and followed for document management
  • Designs and implements common user interface standards, system usability guidelines, and design/page guidelines. Stays current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Creates and assists in developing internal promotion plans to increase awareness of the on-line tools throughout the organization. Guides users towards increase use of e-tools in order to improve colleague productivity. Proactively shares updates and educates internal communications on a regular basis
