Our client, an online retail company, is seeking a Marketing Communications Designer for a temp to perm opportunity. You will report to the Design Director, Marketing Communications and be responsible for:


  • Collaborating on a daily basis with the small group of scrappy, fast-paced digital designers, responsible for conceiving and creating marketing materials across all product lines.
  • Ideation and creation of compelling and effective marketing campaigns, designing and coding email blasts, social media assets, display ads, and day-to-day updates to the website.
  • Produce marketing material under the direction of the Marketing Art Directors, and working closely with the brand team to deliver assets for email, social, and display advertising.
  • Responsible for the overall production of all updates to the website landing pages.
  • Responsible for mocking up digital media assets, creating animations, motion graphics and some HTML coding for email blasts.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality designs in a fast-paced environment.


  • 1-3 years of experience as a graphic designer, with strong proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Must be self-motivated, have excellent problem solving and time management skills, and the ability to ask the right questions.
  • Knowledge of design best practices as they apply to different marketing channels.
  • Experience with animation and HTML/CSS coding a plus.
  • Seeking candidates who are open-minded to learning new things and have a healthy dose of ambition to grow.
  • Ready to work under tight deadlines and have the drive and willingness to learn new design techniques, such as email coding, animation, etc.
