Onward Search is on a quest to find a Web/ Social Graphic Designer with an elevated aesthetic to join our retail client for a contract-to-hire position that starts within 1-2 weeks.

You'll report to the Director of Web Creative and be responsible for creating clean, compelling and on-trend graphics and animation for our client's social media campaigns. You will also design email and web assets, making sure that designs are on-brand and maintain a high level of quality.

Skills:

  • Create social still and motion graphics video content for Instagram stories, posts, Facebook and other social channels
  • Contribute to the development of visual assets for our client's home pages and landing pages, sale events, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Support senior team members with the design of innovative campaigns for our client's various brands.
  • Assist with the evaluation, communication of design trends, photography, type design, animation and motion graphics.

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of experience designing for web, social and digital media - in-house or ad agency.
  • Prefer candidates who have worked for retail brands/ e-commerce. People with lifestyle, fashion, and beauty experience tend to do well here.
  • Must showcase an elevated design sense that mimics design trends seen with top retailers. Photo-driven, strong type, and layout skills.
  • Portfolios should showcase consistency in design. If you speak to what you did in a campaign, better.
  • Must work well in a team setting and be able to defend your design decisions.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and highly prefer candidates who can edit video and are skilled in AE.
